Hello! My name is Lizette Orozco, and I am a psychotherapist and clinical social worker, independently licensed in the state of California (LCSW 107558) and Michigan (LMSW 6801115738). I have been practicing psychotherapy since obtaining my Master of Social Work degree in 2018 from California State University, Long Beach in their Advanced Standing Social Work Program. I have provided psychological evaluations and therapy for many individuals struggling with a wide range of psychiatric disorders.
Since 2012, I have worked with marginalized communities including refugees, immigrants, children in foster care, and individuals struggling with mental health. Through these experiences, I have had to opportunity to meet people as they overcome challenges in their life including histories of abuse/trauma, anxiety, depression, poverty, and other difficulties.
As a daughter of immigrants, I hold close to my heart the hardships experienced by individuals born outside of the United States looking for a safe home for themselves and their families. I look forward to being a part of your journey.
Hi, my name is Jennifer Huchim, I was born and raised in California. My parents that immigrated from Mexico and Guatemala, also raised me in a traditional Latino household with values such as being hardworking, studious, humble, and altruistic.
I am a psychotherapist and clinical social worker, independently licensed in the state of California (LCSW 108412). I obtained my Master of Social Work degree in 2018 from the California State University, Long Beach in their Advanced Standing Social Work Program. I began working with Unaccompanied Children and Unaccompanied Refugee Minors during my graduate program, it was my first exposure to working with undocumented individuals. I have worked at a community mental health agency where I provided psychological evaluations and therapy for adults who were undocumented, U.S. residents and U.S. citizens with a wide range of psychiatric disorders such as post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, and familial separation. In addition, I have obtained advanced training by Georgia King’s immigration evaluation training to refine my assessment and evaluation skills. Helping families with immigration cases is very important work that I will gladly continue to be a part of. And I will continue to do this work by using the values I was taught from my upbringing, my experience, and education to assist with your immigration process.
